Man United want Andre Onana to play vs Tottenham — 24 hours before Cameroon's first AFCON game

Manchester United have a plan to make sure that Andre Onana plays as many games as possible this month.

According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils want the goalkeeper to feature against Tottenham in the Premier League on January 14.

Cameroon kick off their 2024 Africa Cup of Nations just 24 hours later, which Man United believe will be enough time for Onana to jet to the Ivory coast.

Onana's stance on the issue remains unknown for now but the goalkeeper could agree to stay until the very last minute due to his fear of losing his place in goal to no.2 Altay Bayindir.
