Rio reacts to Zlatan retirement
Reacting to Zlatan Ibrahimovic's retirement from football, Rio Ferdinand said on his Vibe with Five podcast: "Zlatan, you have got to remember, this guy epitomised winning, he had a mentality that was as good as you are ever going to get.
"He knew how good he was, there was an arrogance. He respected no one. You cannot fake that [arrogance] during a 24-year career, you can't fake that. He was a different player, I think he was one who got into a lot of players' heads before the game had even started."
Elanga attracts interest from RB Leipzig
According to Sky Germany, RB Leipzig have held discussions with Man United about signing Anthony Elanga this summer - but there is nothing advanced yet.
The Red Devils are believed to be looking for a fee of around €15 million to €20 million to let him leave.
Allardyce wants Tottenham move for Maguire
Sam Allardyce has urged Harry Maguire to join Tottenham.
“Tottenham need him badly. Harry Maguire needs to leave Man United for his own England career,” he told the No Tippy Tappy Football Podcast.
