Barca want Thiago after Gavi injury
Gavi has suffered an injury that will keep him out for between seven and nine months. Barcelona are looking for a short-term replacement and Mundo Deportivo say that Thiago is one of the options they consider.
It's not clear whether Liverpool would entertain a sale of the midfielder in January but it could be an opportunity for them to get a few million for the Spaniard before he departs on contract expiry in 2024.

Jurgen Klopp has criticised the Premier League for scheduling the Manchester City vs Liverpool game on Saturday afternoon after the international break — but Kyle Walker doesn't agree with the Anfield manager.
The Man City full-back said: I have a good manager who gives us a couple of days off before the weekend. It's a little tiring sometimes, but I wouldn't change my job for the world. Sports science has helped me massively. I do my gym work for my muscles and I'm still sharp."
Jones explains his nickname for Gakpo
CuJo told the We Are Liverpool podcast about Gakpo: “I call him Gakkers, that’s the name that needs to stick with him. Cody just came in and everyone loved him when he came in. He’s the most polite lad, but he’s hilarious.
“There was a time he was going on about my accent, saying Curtis’ accent is strong, and I said ‘Shut up you Gakkers!’ It just stuck.”
Gakpo loves life at Liverpool
