Will Alexis Mac Allister be punished for '12 players' comment about Spurs defeat?

In the aftermath of the 2-1 defeat to Tottenham, Alexis Mac Allister left a controversial comment on social media.

Reacting to a post by his Argentina teammate Cristian Romero, the Liverpool midfielder wrote 'It is normal when you have 12 players.' He then deleted the post.

After that, reports emerged that he could face some sort of punishment, as the FA rules ban comments which doubt the integrity of the referee.

However, according to This Is Anfield's David Lynch, there will be no sanction against Mac Allister.

This will undoubtedly be a relief for Jurgen Klopp who is already going to be without Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota due to suspensions.
