Borussia Dortmund defeated PSG with a 2-0 aggregate score and made it to the Champions League final!
After the match Dortmund legend Marco Reus couldn't hold his tears. He said: "We go to Wembley, crazy… crazy. We are back, more than 10 years later. We have to make it happen, it’s our moment. It’s now."
Marco Reus is probably the player who deserves to win this Champions League more than anyone and he actually one step away from it.
During his time at Dortmund, Reus finished runners-up in the Bundesliga on multiple occasions including the 2022-23 season where his side lost the title on the final day despite having the lead heading into the final day. He also lost the 2013 Champions League final.
It seems like most football fans will support Dortmund in the final and the German is one of the main reasons for such support. Fans are used to seeing Reus like this but it doesn't hurt less with each new time.
Let's hope this incredible player can finally win a title and have a wonderful finish to his career.
