Barca and La Liga set to meet over Lamine Yamal 'ghost goal' in El Clasico

La Liga's Technical and Disciplinary Committee (CTA) have invited Barcelona to review the images of Lamine Yamal's disallowed 'ghost goal' in El Clasico, Diario AS says.

The CTA refused to send the images to Barcelona for security reasons but have opened its doors for the club to travel to Madrid and review them in their offices. The meeting is now scheduled to be held in the next few days.

Barca had threatened legal action against the league if the images and audio of the episode were not released by La Liga. Indeed the VAR audio was leaked to the media, but the images have remained a mystery.

Yamal's 28th-minute effort seemed to cross the line before being bundled into the corner by Real Madrid goalie Andriy Lunin. Barca were eventually beaten 3-2 on the night.

Barca president Joan Laporta later insisted that the club would fight until the end and demand a possible replay of the big game if it was discovered that the ball did cross the line.

However, Barca have since lost out on La Liga this year with Real Madrid crowned Champions after the Blaugrana were beaten 4-2 by Girona last weekend.
