'It wasn't a good time before': Nkunku explains balloon celebration v Brighton

Christo Nkunku came off the bench against Brighton and scored Chelsea's second goal in a 2-1 victory at Amex.

The Frenchman blew a balloon in celebration, doing it for the first time in his career with the Blues.

The forward reflected on his goal in an interview with the club's media team: "I scored two times before but it wasn't a good time to celebrate like this [with the balloon]. Tonight was a good time. I was happy. I was waiting for this moment!"

"I was happy to see all the fans happy that I scored and made the celebration. It was a good moment for me, the club and team."

"I feel a lot better now. I am happy now. It was a difficult season with a lot of injuries. But now, I feel very better."
