Chelsea 'confident' of signing Brazilian wonderkid Messinho

The Athletic report that Chelsea are negotiating a move for Estevao Willian and are 'confident' of reaching the deal with Palmeiras.

The Brazilian side are ready to accept an offer of €30m base-fee plus performance-related add-ons.

The 17-year-old has scored once in five first-team appearances for Palmeiras so far this season.

Willian's nickname is 'Messinho', given to him due to his dribbling skills. If Chelsea sign the right-forward, he would move to the Bridge after turning 18 in April 2025.
