Zakharyan agreed personal terms with Chelsea, talks with Dinamo Moscow continue - Fabrizio Romano

Dinamo Moscow forward Arsen Zakharyan has agreed personal terms of a long-term contract with Chelsea, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Russian player who was close to joining the Blues in the summer is now waiting for the clubs to arrange the deal.

Chelsea are still feeling confident that they will be able to complete the deal in 2023.

Zakharyan has several times confirmed that he wants to join Chelsea. However, the move is complicated by several factors, including sanctions imposed on the financial sector in Russia.

The 19-year-old is reportedly applying for Armenian citizenship to make it easier for himself to get a work permit in the UK.
