West Ham United manager David Moyes has promised that his side will do their best to stop Man City from winning the 2023/24 Premier League title on the final matchday.
Speaking ahead of the trip to the Etihad Stadium, he said: “It would be difficult to stop their Under-14s winning the title (laughs). Professional is the word I would use. We will try and do the best we can.”
Arsenal will need West Ham to be totally motivated for the game against Man City. In fact, the Gunners’ faithful hope for the Hammers to treat this match as a final and really push for a positive result.
West Ham have experienced a slump in form in recent weeks. They suffered a 5-0 loss to Chelsea in their last away Premier League game and only won one of their last five league matches.
Man City are on an eight-match winning run in the Premier League since their 0-0 draw against Arsenal in late March, having scored 30 goals in that period.
