'I'm not surprised of my level': Ronaldo on his 54 Al Nassr goals after people 'considered him lost' at Man United

Cristiano Ronaldo has been recently honoured at the Globe Soccer Awards, as he picked up no fewer than three gongs.

He won the Best Middle East Player prize, the Maradona Award for the best goalscorer in 2023, and the Fans' Favourite Player of the Year award.

Cristiano scored 54 goals for Al Nassr and Portugal, outshining rivals like Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe, both with 52 goals. Haaland, representing Man City and Norway, followed closely with 50 goals.

With these awards, the Portuguese wanted to prove to people that he wasn't lost.

Quoted by Fabrizio Romano, Ronaldo said: "If you go back and see what happened at Manchester United and the national team, people actually considered me lost...".

"But the truth is that I focused and had a great period at Al Nassr, that's why I scored 54 goals I'm not surprised of my level as I know that I still have a lot of possibilities to offer".
