Pep Guardiola reveals he has 'ridiculous ideas' against Man United — fans try to guess what they are

Speaking to the media about the upcoming Manchester derby, Pep Guardiola said: "I want to have average of minutes in the legs of the players to be similar.

"I have a few ideas, thoughts, ridiculous ones against Manchester United. I overthink a lot. I love to overthink and create stupid tactics again.

"I don't have a clear line-up against Man United. I didn't watch their last games. I have to see the way they play at home and if they change something."

Just four points separate Man United and Manchester City in the Premier League table ahead of the Old Trafford clash on Saturday.

Meanwhile, football fans on Reddit have been hard at work trying to guess what 'ridiculous idea' Guardiola will implement against the Red Devils.

LeeMiles: "Making no changes and bringing in a settled team might be something Pep considers ridiculous."

AE17__: "Haaland as false CB with John Stones slightly ahead of him?"

Prime_Marci: "He's gonna play Rodri false 9. To stop Licha and Varane from connecting with Case in the middle. Our ace in the hole is Fred."

LordPunk: "He's finally playing Ederson as a striker, but still in the GK kit to confuse the Man United CBs."

SlaughterTheHedgehog: "Stop dicking around and give us the 0-0-11-0 the last 26 years of management have been building towards."
