Man City submit opening bid for Liverpool-linked Matheus Nunes: Romano

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Manchester City have submitted an opening bid for Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes.

Nunes has been a long-time target for Liverpool, who were reportedly interested in signing him last summer when he was still at Sporting and then again this summer.

Since then he has been repeatedly linked to the Reds but Wolves are set to hold out for a high transfer fee for the midfielder.
