Liverpool's released list is confirmed - Wijnaldum and Adrian not on it

Liverpool have published their Premier League retained list and according to it, four players have been released.

They are all academy players - Liam Coyle, Joe Hardy, Abdi Sharif and Jack Walls.

At the same time, two other players - Yasser Larouci and Remi Savage - have been made contract offers.

Conspicuous by their absence are two first-team players, Gini Wijnaldum and Adrian.

Wijnaldum, of course, is all but officially gone, and he has already promised to explain the reasons behind this decision.

Adrian, meanwhile, has apparently been offered to stay at Anfield for another season, but there are conflicting reports as to whether he is inclined to accept it.
