Lewis Hall has joined Newcastle from Chelsea in a loan deal with an obligation to buy.
The talented midfielder was involved with Chelsea's first team last season but he is still only 18-year-old.
Newcastle fans cannot believe how young he is, as one fan of the club commented on Reddit: "Lewis Hall was 3 years old in 2007-08. Christ. Death comes for us all..."
Someone else wonders at the quality of the new signing: "Chelsea spending nearly a billion quid and allow us to snatch up one of their brightest prospects. Boehly is a genius 🫠"
Another Newcastle fan can't wait for the blond link-up on the left: "Hall and Gordon on the left hand side could be the blonde power couple we never knew we needed."
Newcastle have also signed Sandro Tonali, Harvey Barnes, Toni Livramento and Yankuba Minteh (immediately loaned out) this summer taking their spending to over €150m.
