'That's how it is': Xavi lifts lid on what Girona boss told him after the game

"Michel [Girona head coach] told me that it was amazing that they won the match, that he didn't believe it. Neither did I, but that's how it is," Xavi told the media after Barcelona's 4-2 loss to the Catalan rivals.

"Lack of effectiveness, lack of maturity in many moments, lack of better competition, individual mistakes – all of this is inappropriate for this level," the Barca boss also said.

After the game, Michel himself admitted he didn't expect to win the match given Barca's dominance throughout the clash. He also noted that Blaugrana were the better team most of the time.

One individual mistake made the team collapse right in the middle of the second half.
