Player takes penalty kick in huge mud puddle – Mikayil Faye played in that league last year

Something surreal is happening in the Croatian second division.

In the game between Croatia Zmijavci and Zrinski Osjecko, action was taking place in a big mud puddle as the hosts won a penalty kick.

Despite the troubled pitch, the shooter even tried to find a good spot to place the ball in. However, the goalkeeper still parried the shot... apparently injuring himself in the process.

Those celebrations are wild, though!

By the way, Mikayil Faye played exactly in this league before joining Barca last summer. He made 14 first-team appearances for Kustosija Zagreb, scoring one goal and delivering one assist as a centre-back or left-back.
