Athletico Paranaense count on Vitor Roque until December, reports Fabrizio Romano.

They would like the 18-year-old to join Barca in early January.

The Brazilian club want to keep the striker who could help them qualify for the next Copa Libertadores. The following campaign is of particular importance to Paranaense as they will celebrate their centenary season.

Earlier, it was reported that Barcelona were studying the possibility of registering Vitor Roque this summer already. Seems like Athletico aren't prepared to let their star striker go this early.

Barca signed Vitor Roque for €30m this summer. The forward has scored 16 goals and provided 8 assists in 36 appearances for Athletico Paranaense this season.
