A mixture of Barca Juvenil A and Juvenil B players played in the game, with Mendes getting a chance to impress.

Ronaldinho’s son is yet to properly adapt to the European football scene and hasn’t been allotted to either of the Juvenil sides yet.

The Brazilian plays as a centre-forward. He is 1.78m tall and he's left-footed. Earlier, he played for 

's youth teams. At the age of 14, he even hid his identity to avoid the pressure and possible advantages on his career path.

? Joao is certainly good enough to make it into the Barca youth team. However, his performance will tell if he makes it into the senior team. For now, he hasn't shown anything to prove that he's good enough to play for Barcelona. Brazil did not take him to the ongoing under-20 South American Youth Championship which begs the question.

Unless and until you are able to tell us why his contract was terminated by Cruzeriro, that will always raise a red flag about his ability as a player.
I only hope he was signed because he has the requisite skill set to be a Barca player and not because he is a son of Ronaldinho.
