'Matchday stewards on £8/hour couldn't do worse': Chelsea fan enraged by Cucurella's defending v Wolves

Matheus Nunes scored a screamer just after the half-hour's mark to put Wolves 1-0 ahead of Chelsea.

The effort was spectacular but it happened only because Cucurella failed to close him down. The Spaniard stopped running at some point, trying to move his body to block the shot. The effort flew past him and hit top bins.

Considering Chelsea paid more than £60m for Cucurella in the summer, fans are extremely unhappy with the Spaniard.

"For someone whose only purpose on a football pitch seemingly is to 'snuff out counters', I can tell you he's fucking unable to close down people tight," a fan named Sebastian tweeted about the left-back.
