Arsenal Under-21s played out a 2–2 draw against Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League 2 on Monday night.
Jurrien Timber, who was part of the starting XI, marked his return from injury by scoring in the 8th minute of the game.
It was the Dutch defenders first official appearance for the Gunners since the devastating ACL injury he picked up in August 2023.
Speaking about Timber earlier on Monday, Mikel Arteta said: "Tottenham on Sunday, that's a quick step. Let's see how he feels today.
"He's been training really good. He looks ready. He needs that exposure. After that, we'll assess whether that game comes at the right time or too fast.
"We’ll try to get him with us for the final games. Going to the Euros with Netherlands looks really far because he hasn't played any football."
