Rob Holding set for surprise Arsenal return in January - possible fee revealed 

Rob Holding is reportedly set to rejoin Arsenal on a free deal this January following his £4m move to Crystal Palace.

Palace and the player are keen to part ways and work on termination. Mikel Arteta sees Holding and Mo Elneny as key cogs to offer stability to the dressing room.

The 28-year-old has made just one appearance for Palace, the 3-0 defeat against Man United in the Carabao Cup in September. 

Holding is not expected to start many games at the Emirates should he return. The Englishman will be more of a fringe player.
